MaryAnn Moore, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Doctorally Prepared, Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving adolescents and adults across Arizona

MaryAnn Moore, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is dedicated to supporting adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, burnout, and major life transitions. Her approach is collaborative and whole-person centered, honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Moore’s clinical foundation began at one of Arizona’s largest detoxification facilities, where she spent six years caring for individuals experiencing mental health crises, addiction, and complex psychiatric needs. Through this experience, she developed a passion for compassionate, evidence-based care that recognizes the whole person—not just the diagnosis. She continued advancing her education and leadership in nursing, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, graduating summa cum laude, and completing her Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University, where she was recognized with Sigma Nursing honors. She later earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. With more than 16 years of experience in psychiatric care, Dr. Moore has worked with adolescents and adults facing trauma, mood disorders, substance use challenges, and significant life transitions. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered in their healing journey. As a person of Christian faith, Dr. Moore believes in the importance of caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. For patients who desire faith-integrated care, she incorporates scripture and prayer into treatment, emphasizing restoration, resilience, and renewed hope.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Moore enjoys hiking, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her dog, Samson.
